Formed and registered in 2013, we’ve been a cornerstone of community support in Luangwa and Nyimba Districts for over a decade. Established to address the profound needs of vulnerable children, LCDA operates through a unique, community-owned model via its three community associations: Tigwilizane, Chikondwelelo, and Mandombe. This structure ensures grassroots participation and ownership of all interventions. LCDA is governed by a Board comprising parents and government technocrats, ensuring both community voice and technical oversight in policy formulation. The Board provides strategic direction and fiduciary oversight. Day-to-day operations and implementation of policies and programs are managed by a dedicated staff team led by the Executive Director.
